People of the internet. It has come to my attention that I do not update my website as regularly as I should. I understand your concern and I have come up wth a plan to rectify the situation. Rectify. Hehe. Anyway, yeah I don’t update. I don’t “blog”. It’s just that I haven’t had that much to talk about. But it seems like things are starting to get interesting again. //// First of all, HECK YES I am going to the BIG DRILL CAR reunion show in August. I’ll be the 37 year-old man singing at the top of his lungs with tears streaming down his face. Look for me. And check out the cover version of "Swanson" on my myspace page. That may be the only place you'll ever hear it. //// Tracking for solo album #2 is DONE. We finished up last week at The Racket Room in the OC. Details on the release to follow once it’s mixed and mastered. The album will be called “Try To Be Here” //// Another album that is just about in the can is “Random Access Memories” by Floormodel. The release date for this one is also unknown but if you are interested in ordering a copy and being eligible for free tracks and/or Floormodel merchandise at the time of release, please visit our myspace page and sign up to receive the newsletter. //// Remember back a couple years when I posted a home recording of my version of “The District Sleeps Alone Tonight” by The Postal Service? That track is now available for free at Made To Order Records. I think you have to create an account to download the free track. //// Here’s another thing that’s been living on the shelves for a while…Everyone’s favorite children’s metal band, BLACK RATTLE is planning to get back together to finish our CD, tentatively titled “The Tyranny Of Recess” this year. Check out our myspace page for a preview, including a live performance from Greg Behrendt’s Comedy Central Special. //// That enough for you? There’s more. I just can’t tell you yet. But drop me a line if you wanna guess. //// What’s good: Big Drill Car Reunion Show, Tokyo Police Club, Blame It on Gravity, Narrow Stairs, Garage Band, Omnichord, Trios Pistoles & Iron Man!
