The June 7" was recorded in the first of the Three To Get Ready sessions.  "A Day in June" (known simply as "June" on the full length) was the first song written towards the 3TGR album.  I wrote the lyrics during a disappointing 1993 tour.
The song, "Whatever Happened To (Fun)" was originally written by an early 80's Los Angeles rock band, Candy (that featured Gilby Clark, who later joined Guns and Roses).   Todd came across their record and introduced it to me in the summer before high school.  It ended up being one of our favorite records ever.  We left the song "Thrift" off the
album because of its circus like structure and its nonsensical lyrics.  It just didn't fit the nostalgic feel of the album. See if  you can hear Todd experimenting with his guitar by yelling into his pick ups.

First pressing on blue vinyl.
