Not
many bands get this far. A decade. Double digits. Most marriages these
days don't make it this long. Imagine how you felt on your tenth birthday.
Looking back on ten years, it seems like a lifetime. So this is what we've
become. And we still absolutely rock. I think this is the one I dreamt
about when the band started in 1990. Recording was a little different this
time around. It wasn't all smiles in the studio. Not everyone hung around
and laughed all night like we did back in the day. It was more like work,
not because we don't love the music, but because over the years our lives
have been pulled in different directions. I think the songs reflect that.
This was a very inspiring year for me. Writing these songs was more
challenging and rewarding than previous Gameface releases. We are very
fortunate to still be able to share it with you. |
